Passionists International is a permanent call to keeping prominent our longings for Peace and Justice.  Today these longings are inserted into the ever louder cry for the care of the earth; the home of all peoples, the place where God, through His creation, is still calling us to live in compassion, mercy and forgiveness. In recent years we have discovered that we have a voice to speak with and a message to deliver. We continue to believe that, as Passionists, we accept the challenge to sharpen the ear that it hear those voices, often very subtle, which are not heard by those who have in their hands the possibility of change. It is also a challenge to believe that we can generate some small changes, walking together with men and women who share our dreams. Passionists International seeks, alongside people of every race and religion, to unite hearts and hands to make possible that other world of which Jesus dreamed when he announced the coming of the Kingdom.

Fr. Victor Codina S.J. gives us the following words I here share with you:

“In this climate of universal crisis and bewilderment, we Christians, (the Passionists), believe it’s not a time of death but of birth, in the midst of this chaos, the Ruah is present, the spirit hovering over the initial chaos to generate life”.

Thanks for those men and women who continue to opt for life where it is trampled upon, threatened and devalued. Let’s keep looking together for a world in which justice and peace and in which creation is totally and fully respected.
